Coofandy, which began as a startup in 2015 with an Amazon storefront, initially offered business shirts and suits. The brand has since expanded its product line to include casual knitwear, tuxedos, and beachwear. By 2023, Coofandy's revenue had grown to $200 million, up from $6 million in its first year. "Our rapid growth is attributed to our data-driven product development and sales strategies," said Silvia Zhang, Coofandy's Brand Manager. She added, "Our in-house product team of 15 specialists works tirelessly on big data initiatives, allowing us to turn designs into products in just one to two weeks. This agility gives us a significant market advantage."

At their NYFW debut, Coofandy will present 40 looks. Zhang hinted that a top supermodel would open the show, though details remain undisclosed. Ekouaer will showcase 20 looks featuring stylish and versatile sleepwear. Roger Luo, Ekouaer’s Brand Director, described the Spring-Summer 2025 collection as designed for "the fashion-forward, free-spirited woman, who values comfort just as much as style."

The NYFW appearance is part of a broader effort by both brands to expand their global presence. "Coming to New York Fashion Week jumpstarts our branding growth efforts and heralds a new chapter for both brands," said Oliver Chen, Founder of Coofandy and Ekouaer. The brands are also exploring other growth opportunities, including direct-to-consumer sales and brick-and-mortar stores.
