MOSCOW, Oct. 3, 2024 (V SHADES) – Moscow Fashion Week, scheduled from October 4 to 9, 2024, will showcase collections from both international and local designers. The event, held in Moscow, will highlight participants from India, China, and Indonesia, alongside Russian designers, as part of the city’s major fashion gathering.

Indian designer Nitin Bal Chauhan, representing the Fashion Design Council of India, will present a collection that merges traditional Indian craftsmanship with modern fashion elements. Indonesian brand RAEGITAZORO will focus on sustainable fashion by using recycled materials in its designs. Chinese designer Sun Guitian, founder of the KENSUN brand, will feature a collection that incorporates traditional Eastern aesthetics with contemporary design. "Our participation not only enhances the international recognition of our brand but also represents a significant milestone in the fashion and cultural exchange between China and Russia," said Sun Guitian.

Moscow Fashion Week will also include over 70 runway shows by Russian designers. This includes IANIS CHAMALIDY, who will debut a grunge-inspired collection blending streetwear with high fashion, and LI LAB, which will present elegant silhouettes with modern features such as metallic accents.

The fashion week follows the BRICS+ Fashion Summit, held from October 2 to 5, which brought together over 100 countries in the global fashion industry. The summit included the international exhibition "Heritage," featuring more than 40 designers from countries such as Hungary, Sudan, Peru, Laos, and Qatar, celebrating cultural diversity in fashion.
