NEW YORK, December 5, 2024 (V SHADES) – Retail company J.Crew Group has announced the appointment of Julia Collier as Chief Marketing Officer for its J.Crew brand, effective January 6, 2025. Collier, who most recently served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at SKIMS, will oversee brand marketing and brand creative for J.Crew. Based in New York, she will report directly to Libby Wadle, Chief Executive Officer of J.Crew Group.

Collier brings nearly two decades of experience in the fashion and marketing industry. During her tenure at SKIMS, she built and scaled a 40-person marketing team responsible for brand marketing, social media, influencer marketing, and brand creative. Her leadership included initiatives such as high-profile brand partnerships with the NBA, WNBA, and Team USA, as well as collaborations with luxury brands like Fendi, Swarovski, and Dolce & Gabbana.

Collier’s earlier career included roles as Senior Director of Brand Marketing and Creative at A.L.C., Director of Creative Production at Wednesday Agency, and Brand Director at Nicola Formichetti Studio, where she led Diesel's rebranding efforts. Additionally, she served as a Brand Manager for Rugby Ralph Lauren, overseeing digital creative projects. Collier holds a Master's Degree in History of Art and English Literature from the University of Edinburgh.
